At Event Gourmet, Rose is both a trained florist and a caterer. She takes the same brief once, holds one creative vision across everything, and turns up on the day ready to style the whole room. Your grazing table, your centrepieces, your bouquet, your canapes. One person, one aesthetic, one invoice.
That's not common in Adelaide. It might actually be unique.
What's included in a combined package
Every package is built around your event, so the details are always different. Here's what a full catering and florals booking typically looks like.
Catering
Depending on the format you choose, this can include:
- Grazing tables: from a pre-ceremony spread to a full multi-tier Soiree table. From $1,300.
- Canape service: 6 to 10 bite-sized selections passed to your guests. From $59 per person.
- Seated dining: a seasonal plated menu, prepared fresh on the day. $89 per person.
- Dessert bar: handmade sweets including pannacotta, tiramisu, meringues, and macaron towers. From $1,500.
- Brunch grazing: pastries, fruit, yoghurt, granola, and savoury bites for morning ceremonies.
Florals
Designed to complement your colour palette and the mood you're going for:

Rose works with seasonal blooms, locally grown where possible, and designs everything to complement your palette. Whether loose and romantic, structured and minimal, or wild and native.

Common questions
Can I book catering without florals, or florals without catering?
Yes. Each service stands on its own. The combined offering is available to couples who want the convenience and cohesion of booking both, but there's no obligation to do so.
How early should I book if I want both?
As early as possible. Wedding weekends in Adelaide fill up fast, particularly spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May). For full-day weddings, enquiring at least nine months out is recommended. Shorter lead times can sometimes be accommodated.
Do you travel to Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley venues?
Yes. A significant part of the work is outside of the Adelaide metro area. Travel fees apply for venues beyond 30km from the CBD and are included in your quote so there are no surprises.
Can you match florals to our venue's existing styling?
That's usually where the conversation starts. Send photos of the venue, any inspiration images, and your colour preferences, and Rose will come back with a direction before getting into any detail.
Is there a minimum spend for a combined booking?
There's no specific minimum. The smallest combined bookings are usually intimate gatherings of 20 to 30 guests with simple florals and a grazing table. A quote conversation will quickly tell you whether it's workable.
Do you provide a certificate of currency for the venue?
Yes. Event Gourmet carries comprehensive public liability insurance and can provide a certificate of currency directly to your venue coordinator.
